Account Manager

Findology Interactive Media actively seeks an energetic Account Manager to help develop new relationships in the B2B space, as well as grow existing client revenues. Reporting to the COO, the Account Manager will perform the following role.

Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for establishing new business partnerships with search engines and online media companies, representing Findology’s brand and managing business development initiatives and strategies. He/she will work with cross-functional Customer Service, Sales and Technology teams to achieve Business Development strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with and support Marketing efforts.
  • Sell and manage client accounts throughout the lifecycle.
  • Cross/Up sell as well as present at industry trade shows and events.
  • Help facilitate and encourage optimal client communication.
  • Help refine current processes and procedures.
  • Perform basic data analyses using Excel, Access or other tools.
  • Maintain all client communications in CRM.
  • Bring positive energy to the team!
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years in an account executive position.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the online advertising, interactive or search industry.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills a plus.
  • Ability to develop close relationships with clients.
  • Familiarity with issues surrounding internet traffic quality (PPC, SEO, Video)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Enthusiastic attitude.

Flash Designer

Findology Interactive Media actively seeks a talented Flash Designer to help lead on a new video destination site. Reporting to the CTO, the Flash Designer will work closely with a small but talented development and product management team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with management to design easy to use, innovative and differentiating ad creatives.
  • Design and develop multiple flash-based banner ad campaigns.
  • Translate creative briefs, wireframes and/or other documentation into a comprehensive design and layout.
  • Design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BA Interactive Multimedia/Graphic Design or combination of education and work experience.
  • 2-3 yrs of professional multimedia design experience.
  • Strong front-end web design skills (Flash, HTML, Dreamweaver).
  • 2 years professional design experience in agency or in house advertising/marketing department.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobie Acrobat Professional.
  • Experience with thumbnails, video clips, pre-roll and post-roll video ads.
  • Experience creating flash banners on large ad servers.
  • Ability to turn out highly polished, commercial grade designs.
  • Minimum 1 year Flash video with strong proficiency in Fly Playback, Net Stream and Net Connection.
  • Solid experience with progressive and streaming Flash Video, as well as monetization utilizing tools such as DART.

Product Manager

Findology Interactive Media actively seeks a Product Manager to take ownership over a soon to be launched video ad search destination site. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Development, the Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the products defined support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Market research and analysis to determine strategic positioning and product roadmap.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, resource maps and status updates.
  • Deliver BRD/MRD and PRD’s with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
  • Define functional requirements at a technical level.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition.
  • Work in conjunction with design team.
  • Drive partner/client integrations to successful and timely completion.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years direct work experience in an internet and/or interactive media company.
  • Significant experience with online video.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. Or, an equivalent combination of educational and professional experience.
  • 2 to 4 years direct experience in online marketing with an emphasis on PPC, SEM and SEO.
  • 2 to 4 years direct experience with UI enhancements.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Hands on experience with XHTML, XML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP/PERL, RSS, tags and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Current understanding of bogging, social networking and related Web 2.0 technologies.
  • Hands on project management experience working with current tools and methodogies.
  • Be able to present examples and at least one sample of an effective product document delivered in the past.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Guru

Reporting to the CEO Findology’s SEO guru will work on multiple destination sites increasing visibility for each by managing top to bottom SEO efforts including: site structure and page construction, site features, content, keywords, sitemaps, inbound link generation, ranking and referral reports, site audits and more.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to SEO expertise on product plans, product enhancements and new site features for PRD’s.
  • Ongoing keyword research, analysis, recommendations and execution.
  • Develop and execute linking strategies.
  • Monitor destination sites and general marketplace to ensure that sites maintain competitive SEO rank.
  • Remain abreast of current search engine news, “best practice” and emerging trends.
  • Conduct thorough site audits recommending and implementing SEO enhancements.
  • Track and report on success of SEO enhancements as well as overall SEO health across product lines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive SEO in content creation and programming.

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years of significant SEO experience in an online media site, video, search, ecommerce, social networking and/or community site.
  • Extensive knowledge of the search engine industry, industry standards, best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
  • Proven ability to optimize for organic search on the major search engines: Google, Yahoo, MSN/Live and ASK.
  • Familiarity with programming languages including HTML, DHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, and web technologies including online video, Flash, CSS, RSS.
  • Proven SEO success including link building, link baiting, ranking for targeted keywords, increased referrals and conversions.
  • Deep familiarity with PPC and video websites.
  • Sound understanding of user experience for the web.

Senior Director of Product Development

Working in tandem with executive management and the development group, the Senior Director of Product Development will manage, monitor and coordinate all release goals with additional responsibility over future product managers and production across all lines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with management team to determine strategic positioning and product roadmap.
  • Effectively prepare and communicate budgets, schedules, resource maps and status updates.
  • Perform thorough market research and analysis.
  • Develop and communicate PRD’s with dev team.
  • Provide guidance to design team.
  • Liaise with Sales and Marketing architecting solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain and assist with growth/infrastructure of company offerings and main revenue generating products.
  • Instill metrics to all products and gauge performance.
  • Work in conjunction with SEO team to drive traffic to destination sites.
  • Assist with licensing department launch.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years direct work experience in an internet and/or interactive media company.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. Or, an equivalent combination of educational and professional experience.
  • 3 to 5 years direct experience in online marketing with an emphasis on PPC, SEM and SEO.
  • 3 to 5 years direct experience with UI enhancements.
  • Demonstrated familiarity working with XHTML, XML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP/PERL, RSS, tags and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Current understanding of blogging, social networking and related Web 2.0 technologies.
